Mikael I agree with your points on Hamilton as a driver. The problem I have with him is the public image he continues to display in what I can only think is an attempt to build brand Hamilton. I don't think it is in sync with the real Hamilton which is probably just a humble petrol head. Consequently to me, he comes across as insincere and that puts me off. I see the other day he claimed he was dyslexic. This is the first I heard of that in all these years and I can't help feeling he is trying now to compare himself to JYS. He is not JYS he is Lewis Hamilton and he should just be him. Anyway those are my views and they don't detract from the great skills he displays as a driver.

Rob, I do not disagree with the criticism (of Hamilton). The admiration expressed in my last post was completely one-sided and it applies just to Hamilton the driver, with the helmet on - and the microphone inside turned off .
With the last sentence I simply meant that the presence of a character like him - immensely talented yet at times a villain, at times too much a playboy - that's one thing that makes F1 so amusing and so fascinating.
