Racing drivers sometimes do things that seem magic, impossible for mere mortals. But they are also just ordinary people, with family and friends. Having a laugh, drinking a beer or playing with their kids. I thought it was a nice idea to see how many pictures we can collect of our heros in a more 'human' setting. To start with a great picture of Jimmy 'at home'. Jochen and Nina. Gilles and family.

Great idea for a thread Rene. Some great photos there... He's one I've always loved, its a well known picture but worth putting on here in this context. Weirdly, I passed by this very spot in Mill Hill, London today on my way home from a meeting. There's a blue plaque erected on the wall of the house and I swing by every so often and tip my metaphorical hat to the Hills.....

Are they a disreputable group of helmet collectors, photographed shortly before being arrested?
I think those are wives, three ordinary and perhaps reflective of real love, and three trophy wives. A driver's conundrum: Is it better to have a long lasting relationship with a plain woman or a short, explosive relationship with one whose ego matches yours?

The annual cricket match. I think this is 1973 at Lord March's house though I am not sure about the venue. A lot of great names in the picture.
