my ex is a Kiwi bless her and she is reminding me daily how well New Zealand are doing and quite frankly are a lesson to us all, but what says so much to me is that you don't have to quarantine if you come in from Ireland but you do if you come from New Zealand, yea
the ongoing greed and corruption is just so awful to observe, the lies that are being manufactured and the absolving of any responsibility is a disgrace, I don't know about China or the WHO, other than i aim to try and reduce my 'Chinese imprint' and buy less from there, but the UK and the USA - i have seen around 12 prime ministers and I have loathed several and despised a few others but i never come across one so narcissistically inept as this current one whose tenure i hope will end in a custodial sentence and as for Mr President - words fail me - i just wish it was catching

Yep the NZ premier has handled the Covid-19 situation very well. I will have to phone my sister who lives just out of Auckland to see how she is holding up.

I was watching Mark Priestly's blog on YT last night and he was talking about all the precautions the teams etc are having to make with a view to beginning the F1 season. Apparently Brawn wanted the teams to accept a drop scores from two races in light of the possibility that a driver and or team members who are in close contact might have to self isolate. This was an attempt at making it fair for all but as ever it was not accepted, or more truthfully it would allow some to exploit the rule to a more favourable conclusion.
Also it appears that only 10 members of the press will be allowed at a race or group of races, specially chosen members of the motoring press, and that it will be rotated over a set number of races. Interviews will be only conducted via video link however so not much point them being there really. Everyone will be masked and visored up throughout so that should make an interesting spectacle or not!
Outside of that it appears that Imola is now been given a Grade 1 for use, as are other venues like Portimao and Mugello. One has to say if they use those excellent circuits how in all that is holy can they return to some of the other crap on the normal calendar afterwards.

Probably as a reflection of his contributions to motorsport, whenever I see or hear the name "Tilke" I think of "tinkle", the word young children in America use for urination.
