Not a real surprise as he had nowhere else to go. What I did find remarkable though is what he said about McLaren: "This is a fantastic team, full of incredible people, with a warmth and friendliness that I've never experienced elsewhere in Formula 1."
Maybe it is only me but when there are two words that I don't associate with (post Bruce) McLaren they are 'warmth' and friendliness'. Or has Ron taken the cold air with him on leave?
Anyway, still good for him and the Mac will most certainly be more competitive with the French engine in the back. Maybe even another victory for Fernando in 2018?
