well done Jonathon Rae, 5 times a WSB champion, a real struggle for you this year with Bautista really going well initially
but Jonathon will face a new challenge next year methinks and maybe just maybe next year will just provide that extra spark WSB needs to re-elevate it, what with Scott on the Duke, Honda obviously planning something really special and the Turkish rider going somewhere special - looking forward to it

Next year looks to be shaping up very well and maybe Johnny Rae will have his hands full. I have no doubt that Scott will provide a much more consistent challenge, and if he fulfils his ability he is more than capable of beating Rae. It appears that Topraik is now signed up to Pata Yamaha and that Alex Lowes is moving to the works Kawasaki alongside Johnny. I was certain that Leon Haslam had a two year deal with that team but apparently he will be moving across to Topraik's old seat, very strange. However Leon hasn't really been on the pace of Johnny Rae all year and no where near at the level of his predecessor Tom Sykes. Currently Leon Camier is looking for confirmation from Honda but that looks doubtful, he does however say he has other options at WSBK level and is favourite to replace Scott at PBM Ducati in BSB. Leon is a very talented rider but unlucky with injury and team placement. Honda will be wheeling out a completely new super bike to replace the old Fireblade, I wonder if it will be a V4 this time like the old RC30 & 45, that would be something. JC

Well the signs are looking good with some impressive testing times and three tenths quicker than his well established team-mate for Scott on his WSBK debut. Things are looking up for WSBK and with that fantastic looking new Honda Fireblade about to emerge next season could be heading towards the rejuvenation the series needs. We just need the BSB Eurosport commentary/presentation team to take over .

there is a lovely clip of Marquez discussing the new Fireblade, it really does look like an awesome bit of kit, I rode one at a launch and it was tiny and with a slipped chest so to speak bloody uncomfortable, I then rode the VFR1200 with that amazing V4, wow that was seriously quick, and decided against for survival of both person and licence reasons, but was it special!
James does do some of the co-commentary but the lead with a bit of a mangled accent is a bit hyper, James tries to shut him up and it works sometimes, the pit lane guy is ok, I quite like his deference and manners and whilst not quite on James's level he is ok
starting to look forward to next year as I suspect with Moto2 reducing its numbers more will start looking at WSB WSS etc and that can only be good, Rossi in 2021?
