My folks used to live near there in Weybridge. My old man drove past the track every day on his way to the train station. Are some of those F1 cars from the former Donnington Museum?

fabulous! thanks Andy, these really are a treasure, great pictures and memories, wonderful,
I was fortunate to get invited to a private do at Brooklands in 1979 and you could still walk a bit of the old banking, so so steep, wonder how it compares to Monza and the one on France? and not a patch on what is on offer today, that is really a worthwhile treat - good on Lydia for such excellent taste,
did I spot you were the quickest in the time trials Andy? nice one, reminds me of when these simulators first came out in the 90's and clearly not as sophisticated as today and if memory serves me right it was a Nascar thing and I kept setting fastest lap but then kept crashing, never did get the hang of these things and just was well I didn't attempt that on the roads! well done Andy

Wow, nice photos! That must have been a very nice day. There is some great machinery on display and well done on the sim lap, one for the history books. The car and bike museum actually reminds me a bit of the Autodrom Museum in Hockenheim ( Link) which I visited in 2018. The Senna McLaren is gorgeous and a very nice slot car track! The banking of the old race track looks intimidating! Thanks for sharing, Andy.
