Yep no DRS needed then, cars much smaller and less aero nonsense. Funny in those days I preferred Piquet to Mansell but not anymore. Mansell was really very gracious and humble at Silverstone this year before the race.

A short feel good clip. Seb in Mansell’s red 5. Wonderful sounds! Here is another great Williams moment at Silverstone, when Nigel Mansell caught and passed Nelson Piquet on the approach to Stowe Corner. Mansell had fresher tyres and the English crowd on his side, so it may not have been entirely fair, but for Piquet, fairness never mattered. One of the great passes, starting at the 7:15 point in the highlight film. Pay no mind to the notice, simply click on the YouTube link and enjoy
A classic Carl, a classic!

I cannot escape my loathing for DRS and as history teaches us, less aero means better opportunities to overtake, and better racing, as they are learning the wrong way in MototGP,
'that' overtake was simply incredible, those dummies Mansell sold Piquet were priceless and the roar that went up was just brilliant, it really did reverberate around the circuit. a very popular victory
