While over in the UK a few weeks ago I met up with some of my close relatives who live in Kent and they passed to me a newspaper cutting that they thought may have been of interest. Only very short but fascinating none the less. Attachment Deleted |

that looks good JC, slight problem with my eyesight distinguishing the words though...
there is a wonderful film of a very early Brands with the 500cc F3 cars going the wrong way around -I do remember seeing some motorbike races at Brands and a red Vincent up against this monster two-stroke Yamaha and the blew the whole field apart, very different to my recent trip with the BSB, they are a bit spectacular there -
I did drive a FF1600 around there in the early 70's but have only vague recollections of it

That's great Chris, I am pleased to have been able to assist. In fact I only find these things out by playing around with the site. It is not ineptitude on your behalf at all. For my part I still cannot get to upload pictures to the site via a hosting site/cloud like Dropbox, all I get are little blue boxes where the picture(s) should be!
