After the team presentations, the season has really begun with testing in Sepang!
Aprilla had a flying start with Espargaro leading Viñales in an Aprilla 1-2.

Oh no! the Grand Prix motorcycles are starting to have "full" wings. That's really not a good way to go, in my humble opinion ...

A wing mounted just above the rider's rearend would be ideal... Acrobatic riders could flex muscles to open and close the wing elements

that is about right Rene/ Carl,
Mikael you are spot on with your comment, so many fans are already saying that MotoGP is following the F1 mistakes and racing will pay the price - Apparently Ducati who is responsible for so many of the innovations, such as the holeshot device which now also lowers the front end when exiting the corner,
the biggest problem is that Ducati have the most powerful engine so they can run more drag than virtually everyone else, Honda is close but with 8 bikes on the grid Ducati are likely to dominate the series, It is heading in a direction that I don't see as good, Obviously I will wait and see and wonder if Aprilla can continue their initial start. I understand that Fabio is also saying there isn't much more grunt in the Yamaha engine which does not bode well but we will see

there has been some very interesting testing going on, it feels very strange with no Rossi present, but time moves on and the new breed coming through look really exciting, The Aprilla's are going well and I hope they don't flatter to deceive and Yamaha? quick but still lacking grunt and despite all these terrible appendages and tricks it has the hallmarks of being a really good season, but will it be as good as ?
WSB, two clear favourites and already people are dismissing Scott on the BMW, fools
BSB- it has been announced that Leon Haslam is returning to this series on a Kwacker, not expecting a great deal and still no news as far as I know about Tom Sykes
