Almost as expected the Aragon race was a difficult one for points leader Fabio Quartararo. Finishing 8th while his nearest rivals finished 3rd (Mir) and 1st (Bagnaia) was not ideal. But it was a deserved first win for Francesco Bagnaia. Marc Márquez was definitely up to speed again. However, the Misano circuit is a different track where Yamaha has performed very well in the MotoGP era so expect Fabio Quartararo to be one of the favorites for the win. But of course Bagnaia’s confidence will be very high and he grabbed his first podium here last year. This will be the first race of the San Marino 'double header' with the second race in a month time.

I write this after the two practices on a Friday have been completed and Maverick is quickest.....and it is wet, very very wet which did remind of Spa a few weeks ago, but then they do have 4 wheels so it must have been too difficult,
Dovi is back, as is Frankie, neither setting the world alight, all in all it is going to be some race, with Fabio originally considered the favourite was nowhere in the rain, some spectacular accidents that mercifully no one seems to have gotten too badly injured,
I am going for Johan, who has now acknowledged he has arm pump issues and is scheduled to have surgery Monday, so it is dubious how far he can go,

well what a weekend so far, this is being written before today's race and after some exhilarating qualifying sessions, in the wet the Maverick is back, and as the commentators suggest a happy Maverick is one of the very fastest riders going, the man on form Pecca was mighty in the dry,
So, a lot will really depend on the weather - good weather Fabio is in with a good chance, bad weather he isn't, in either Pecca and the Suzuki's look favourite, although Mir is starting from a long way down the grid and his aggressive overtaking style may catch him out, especially after his comments about Marquez, which I would not disagree with, the one for me to watch is the Maverick, starting 10th in only his second race, now that is impressive,
whatever else it is going to be some race
