The final round before the summer brake will be held in The Netherlands at the historic TT circuit of Assen. A circuit that almost guarantees sensational races so this one is certainly worth watching! Can Márquez win again after his surprise victory in Germany? But Fabio Quartararo will surely want to go in the summer break with an even stronger lead in the championship. Can Zarco finally win and Miguel Oliveira continue his strong run? A lot to look forward to! On my way home from work I just heard some nice news about Valentino Rossi. He was made honorary citizen of the city of Assen and is being commended for his achievements in motorsport. With his 10 wins at Assen, he is the most successful rider at this circuit who is still active. Only Nieto (15) and Agostini (14) won more often in The Netherlands. That is at least one price for Valentino this weekend!

Right I am sticking my neck out here, this is the one for Johann Zarco and what a place to do it.

It will be very interesting as to what happens , I am not sure what the weather forecast is for this weekend irrespective of that seems like all kinds of going’s on with gerloff replacing Frankie and Rossi has decided on Ducati for next year whether or not he is riding one remains unannounced maverick has been very critical of Yamaha and is saying he will use Fabio’s set up can’t see him at Yamaha for much longer and wouldn’t it be ironic if he won Rossi is this his best chance to get that elusive last podium I would love to see Johan win or maverick come to that

well, what a race, it was vying for my attention with the brilliant BSB, it was one of Fabio's best races in my humble opinion - his overtake on Pecca was majestic as was the Maverick once he got back the Honda who went backwards after that, all the noise was about Maverick and his move onwards from the end of the year as to where he goes with Aprilla being favourite, given their history of how they treat riders and just how well Zarco is going on the Ducati I would encourage Maverick to review those thoughts and maybe join his old team-mate for a year and then go to either KTM or Suzuki if they would take him back.
