Here's another great 'top' shot. Testing for the Italian Grand Prix.

Such a beautiful car-the end of the 60s look and one of the most beautiful.

Absolutely gorgeous car. The apogee of F1 cigar-shaped car.

This is not a 'B' but a 'T'. Great photo nonetheless!

As mentioned sometime ago, I am finally going to see this on Saturday morning:
designmuseum.org/exhibitions/ferrari-under-the-skin
I wonder whether Jamie has seen the exhibition.
My son declined, he's fully into dinosaurs, we thought it would eventually pass but it seems he's a serious expert at (not even) eight. Not kidding. I showed him pictures of recent discoveries in China and he explained their likely "who, what and where" with full logic argument. Still want him to get into physics or engineering, in due course, tough, maths is his favoured subject.

I have in the past hour downloaded the film "Ferrari 312B" in full Blue Ray format, it looks stunning from the first few minutes that I have previewed. Currently burning it to disc so I can watch it on my big screen.

Spa Francorchamps 1970.

Spa Francorchamps 1970. Interesting minimalist design dashboard! It kind of stands in contrast to the neat upholstery of the entire cockpit and the beautifully prepared (cast or milled) gated gear shifter. But perhaps the peculiar "3D layout" of the instruments was by order of Jacky Ickx. Probably so ...

Spa Francorchamps 1970. That doesn't look like Spa 1970 to me René, as that looks to be a Ferrari 312B2. White faired in headrest/roll over bar; squared off front of cockpit surround; electrical cut out switch mounted infront of cockpit surround; and Jacky's helmet was still a lighter shade of metallic blue in 1970 not this darker solid blue. Great photo though and that cockpit upholstery is just magnificent.

To be more precise, the 1971 B2 pictured at Zandvoort.
