A week or so ago I noticed a short film about a new release of the 1966 Ford GT40 Mk11 in 1/12th scale. It turns out that it is a new construction kit made by a company called Meng who I understand are Chinese. The kit is very much like an updated Tamiya 1/12th scale model and appears to be very good indeed. I did a bit more digging and it appears to be due for release in April 2021 but comes in at a breathtaking €724 RRP but is offered now at €598.50. Therefore if you are a good model builder and wealthy it could be a good purchase  .   |

Impressive kit... at an impressive price!
If I ever spend 600 Euros on a model car it needs to be a Ferrari for me. But still, that is a lot. Although I have to admit I purchased two new slot cars last week that were also not so friendly on the wallet so to speak....  |
