The same poster who produced the film of Charles at Fiorano in the 2018 Ferrari posted Carlos' laps last evening, he seemed to be having fun and early on got a bit loose on one bend. He has said that it was memorable for him to get those first laps in a Ferrari with Charles and Carlos Snr watching on.
I also saw last night that Wolff is having a bit of a spat with Horner and Binotto about engine equality or some sort of thing. He just can't look at the bigger picture for the sport can he, its all about Tonto and MB dominance.

Seb in green... and a new look. I wish him well, but doubt he is greeted by church bells wherever he goes

talk about poor timing, my mate who I play golf with has two sons who, until last year, both worked for Aston Martin, fortunately i was lucky enough to do the factory tour before they left 2 years ago, what an amazing place, it would be good to see Aston do well, after all their cars are far more iconic than most.....

I have just Mark's article this morning and it is as fig he has read our comments on here . His analysis of Charles matches that of some of us guys and he also draws the comparison with Gilles, which some of us have done for over one year now. I feel reading between the lines that Mark thinks Charles as the quickest of the current crop; good grief he actually says that he is one of the quickest ever! I have been a long time supporter of Carlos and have rated him highly for ages, good to know that fro some time Mr Hughes has been also. He also pointed out something that is not widely known or accepted in some quarters that Carlos actually held the upper hand over Verstappen in qualifying when teamed together at Toro Rosso. I have the feeling that those two boys are going to be a formidable team at Ferrari. There was some Australian guy on YouTube who had posted on his channel his predictions for 2021, quite hilarious to view it. He says that Verstappen will be World Champion in 2021 and that Stroll will actually win a race. Well I had to switch off after that, as you would of course .

Japan's new hope, Yuki Tsunoda also had a testing day in 2018 machinery at Imola. I must say I find all these testing resrictions quite ridiculous. There are surely more clever ways to save money if that is the aim. Testing used to be interesting when it was still free. Anyway, here is Yuki in action!

Japan's new hope, Yuki Tsunoda also had a testing day in 2018 machinery at Imola.
A driver with two years of international experience, one year in FIA F3 followed one year in FIA F2 - where he finished 3rd, with three victories; yet just 20 years old.
So perhaps the strongest Japanese F1-hope so far.
When Takuma Sato entered F1 he had a bit more international experience, with three years in British F3, winning the Championship in the third year. But he was also older, 25, when becoming an F1-rookie. One might probably be able to have a "steeper learning curve" when being just 20 ...
As far as I know, all other Japanese F1 hopefuls (including Kamui Kobayashi) had only little international experience before their chance in F1. That always proved ... detrimental ...

Well Yuki certainly is making the right noises and hopefully does well, I saw Taku race in F3, one race at Croft is fixed in my memory, he was just so dominant I really thought Japan had their breakthrough and then really it didn't work for him in F1 but did in Indycars, which always puzzled me. He was quick of that I am sure but, I was also a fan of Kamui, what a brilliant overtaker he was but again it didn't work for him either, not sure where he is at now but it seemed a shame he didn't climb that top step. So if Yuki is a good potential I hope he gets the backing he deserves.
Without getting into conspiracy theories about Mark and Mat as well following our thoughts, maybe it is just a case of great minds thinking alike?

Well according to The Guardian newspaper Hamilton has signed a single year contract, the will he, won't he nonsense has now ended thank goodness.
One year! Does that mean he will be off after clinching that important next championship. Shame if someone else manages to do it instead; Ah!lets have another year Eh! Tonto. All the while George is champing at the bit having his career ruined.
