Back to Spain for the second race of a triple header. Le Mans was a difficult race for the title contenders and with five more races to go everything is still possible, especially with two races on the way that are less suitable for the engines of Suzuki and especially Yamaha. Rain is not expected in Spain but another surprise result is just as well possible. And what about home favourite Alex Márquez? Was France a breakthrough result for him? Bring it on!

I thought it mainly rained on the plane,
that is some backdrop isn't it? must be quite intimidating with that behind you, in this year of chaos and misunderstanding i have gone for Maverick, purely and simply as it as you say Rene not a Yamaha track, so on the basis that it isn't it will be
but yet again we have an overload, the WSB finale, it is an almost conclusive result but kudos to Scott to at least making Jonathon work for his title, and BSB also a title chasing event, three races at my 'old' local circuit - wow I was there a couple of years ago, a tremendous weekend, long ride back but worth it, and this year behind the safety of my front door

Just read Rossi has tested positive for Covid-19 and cannot take part in this weekends' Grand Prix!
Oh my oh my, just imagine if one of the title contenders tests positive... that goes of course for all the major competitions.

Hope Valentino is OK and comes through unscathed. What a shame Lorenzo was so slow in the recent test he could have been on the bike. They were ripping Jorge something terrible on BTSport last weekend, saying he was now done as a racer and should go to the beach, pretty strong stuff I felt. Maybe they could give Toprak a run out .

that was a bit of a shock about Valle, hope he does get well soon, it is a shame that all three of my favourite championships are competing on the same weekend, that is going to be tough to follow, but someone has too, although out on Sunday weather permitting,
Has Jorge finished? somehow I am not convinced, maybe he is enjoying his retirement and the motivation, especially not to get hurt to lie on a beach must be strong, but equally he is ultra-competitive , but not sure I would see him this weekend, maybe Yamaha should give Chas a run out? jesting of course, he is committed to Ducati for one last weekend,
Mat Oxley has done a series of some good stories in MS this week, especially about the temperatures and how that influences who will be quicker etc, it does strike me as getting somewhat over-complicated and the days of turning up, tuning up and racing are so distant from today's techno fest it is difficult to consider them the same sport,

An eventful MotoGP with tyres center stage, a well-deserved result for Suzuki and excellent close second for Alex Marquez.
With the winner not even on the ballot, I am tempted to vote for myself retroactively, as I sometimes do in presidential elections.

somehow I reckon you would make an excellent president Carl,
the three classes were, shall we say interesting, M3, John and his long lap for getting annoyed with his followers, mmm, not happy with the stewards with that one and wasn't M2 brilliant felt for Bezz but Sam yet again great wouldn't it be a hoot if Sam won the championship,
the premier class was just dominated by Suzuki and a great drive by both riders and what can you say about Marquez junior other than well done, thought Maverick rode well and Zarco was saying after the race how pleased he was with 10th given the conditions and the tyres, but overall as I am not an Alex Rins fan personally disappointed Fabio was nowhere with an overinflated tyre
