It’s funny that you post this Carl as it was in the news over here ( nos.nl/artikel/2334331-amerikaanse-tv-show-plots-sponsor-van-nederlandse-knikkeryoutubers.html)! The marble runs are created by the two Dutch brothers Jelle and Dion Bakker. The youngest brother Jelle is autistic and he has a so-called hyperfocus on marble tracks since he was 4 years old. He makes up all these amazing tracks and his older brother Dion came up with the idea of creating a competition with rivalry marble teams. It was already quite a hit on Youtube with 800.000 subscribers but John Oliver’s show has accellerated their success enormously. He is title sponsor now and donates $5000 to the food bank and another $20.000 to good causes after each (!) competition game! And the brothers are making some good money also. A nice feel good story and it is actually quite fascinating to watch!  |

John Oliver is brilliant and his HBO program was my introduction to Jelle's Marble Runs. Wonderful story!
