Maybe Ferrari has already made up their mind but maybe they are still weighing their options who will partner Charles Leclerc in 2021.
Most likely candidates seem Sainz, Ricciardo or Giovinazzi. But there are more drivers free next year so let's see who gets the most votes...

Okay, I’ll do a wild guess; Sergio Perez.
Sergio has a Ferrari background and even had a pre-contract for 2014. He’s fast and solid and a Ferrari seat would be the ultimate achievement in his career. He will bring home many points and take the occasional win. He will duly accept a position as second driver to Leclerc.
Sainz also seems a good choice but he’s the same age as Charles and will do everything to show Ferrari he can be number one. This could destablize the team.
Same goes for Ricciardo who would probably not even accept a number two position and will fight Charles as hard as he can, always.
Gio is a Ferrari man and could be a good support to Leclerc but he is not a proven factor.
Hamilton would be spectacular but a Hamilton/Leclerc line-up is a bit like a Alonso/Hamilton line-up at McLaren back in 2007…

It's too late for Nico Hulkenberg after many years as a bridesmaid and many hoping Ferrari would choose him, so it may be Daniel Ricciardo who catches the bridal bouquet.

I would like Valteri Bottas to replace him so that is who I am voting for.

Nothing officially confirmed yet by Ferrari but all motorsport sites say it is going to be Carlos Sainz.
Carlos is 25 years old and Charles 22! That must be the youngest driver pairing at Ferrari ever!

It has been confirmed now then that Carlos Sainz Jnr is to replace Sebatian Vettel at Ferrari. Should be a great driver pairing and as René mentioned earlier one of the youngest pairings at Maranello. One site has suggested that it is the youngest since 1968, which would have been Chris Amon and Jacky Ickx.
Carlos appears to have managed his career very well after being given the cold shoulder by the Fizzy Drink set up, so there will be two red cars looking for Max come 2021.
Ricciardo to McLaren also, be interesting to see how he handles Lando, or not. What of Renault therefore? It would be decent if they rehired Nico H.

They are the youngest driver pairing for the Scuderia as confirmed on Ferrari's official website but it's very close with the 1968 pairing of Amon and Ickx. Amon was also 25 and Ickx 23! Never realized they were that young as in general drivers were a bit older back then compared to today's bunch. But come to think, when next season actually starts Charles will be 23 and Carlos 26 so combined older than Ickx/Amon in 1968...

Danny Ric is getting good at leaving teams without the team principles in question knowing he was going to do so, rather like his overtaking!

I think it will be a close run thing. Danny Ric has to learn how a new team operates but he must be getting good at that by now and Lando will have hopefully added another 10+ races to his knowledge bank. Actually I was thinking yesterday that how nice it would be without Lewis, Seb and Kimi and just the youngsters racing. I like the older guys but after Covid -19 I think a grid without them would be very refreshing.

So in reality the Chris Amon & Jacky Ickx pairing in 1968 will be the youngest Ferrari line up as we cannot use this year as a comparison as Charles and Carlos are not actually team mates this year.
It actually makes you realise how young Amon was when he made his Grand prix debut driving for the Parnell team in that old Lola. Jacky Ickx was incredibly young for those times and I have likened his entry as comparable to Verstappen's in the modern age.
There is an interesting analysis on YouTube as to why Sainz Jnr was chosen, some issues highlighted were the fact that he speaks fluent Italian; is actually much faster than many accept; very strong and error free in races; brilliant as a corporate representative, similar in many ways to Jenson Button.

really agree Rob, there is always a time for people to move on, the trick is to know it, there are some brilliant, fascinating and exciting young drivers coming through - let them shine, especially as I understand there is talk of Teflonso making a return to Renault? which surely would be such a backward step and I am not even thinking of the Hulk
do we know what Seb's plans are?
JC, do you think? I'm not sure I would identify Carlos with Jenson, interesting thought as you are normally much better than I at this, but interesting, Carlos has been tutored by his Dad, who knows the score, not sure John did, but my word he [John] had the right idea of the Father figure in the pits, unobtrusive and supportive, brilliant- a lesson to all, I wonder if Rubens may be closer? but it will be interesting as I think the fizzy drinks people dropped a clanger with Carlos and he is quick, it will be fascinating to see how they compare-

I think Seb will retire. I don't see him at Renault fighting in the midfield so the only other possibility would be Mercedes. But that would mean exit for Bottas ("thank you Valtteri..") and does Seb really want to take the fight to Lewis? Don't think so.
Based on what he said about leaving Ferrari, I think his days in the limelight are almost over now. He will retire and have a good life with his young family. And he can be proud of his career. Four titles and six years as a Ferrari driver is something most can only dream about.
I agree Chris about Teflonso. No matter how good he still is (he is), there is enough new talent to take the Renault seat. But Fernando doesn't know what else to do with his life and is very eager. And Renault might think it good for publicity. So don't be surprised if it actually happened.
