testing has also begun here, although no indication of who is sandbagging or not, it is looking very interesting, for those who are interested, Quad is setting the pace again, but the ones who are grabbing the attention are Zarco 6th fastest and Marquez 14th, just how bad is that shoulder injury? what odds for a Zarco and Redding Ducati team next year?

MotoGP may not have the virus anti-passes F1 has but Moto2 and 3 are definitely trying to make up for it, go Joe and Dixon, shame about Sam but hey, looking good

Personally I cannot understand the mindset of it being OK to race Moto2 & 3 but not MotoGP, are they deemed to be less important than the so called big boys? How many of these teams come from Italy where the epidemic is at its biggest in Europe?
According to an expert on pandemics that was interviewed on UK C4 channel last evening this coronavirus outbreak is very; very serious indeed, but all motor sporting authorities seem to believe that their events are more important. Ummm!
In a moment of enlightenment great to see young Joe Roberts going so well, always rated this lad for his talent and personality. Hope Jake Dixon gets on top of Moto2 but feel he has a mountain to climb there and should have been directed towards WSBK where a great career could be achieved. Sam Lowes sadly isn't anywhere near the quality of his twin sibling Alec, who really impressed me in WSBK at Phillip Island last weekend.

I was very surprised that F1 was going ahead and the Italian teams weren't are problem yet in MGP which is now cancelling - sorry re-arranging - Austin and possibly Argentina until the end of the year, which could be interesting, especially if they think the virus is going to be under control by then and how many races are they going to squeeze in

Apparently it was down to the organisers of the Qatar GP that allowed the Moto2 & 3 races to go ahead as the teams were there already following testing; MotoGP were not already there. So I assume none of the riders or team personnel returned home in between, or travelled anywhere else.
I am incredulous that the Australian GP is going ahead and a big thumbs up to Lewis Hamilton for saying as much himself, mind you he is a pretty unimpeachable position these days being a six time WC. But good on him for stating what should be happening or not!

Are you lead by the rumour that Kawasaki apparently requested a wild card entry in some GP's with their WSBK machine Chris?
That ain't going to happen I am sorry to say as the bike does not qualify in any way shape or form as a "prototype" which the rules strictly specify.
Personally I would love to see the "Green Meanies" as they were affectionately known in the mid 1970's, back in full force with a full factory team.

wouldn't it be great, but yes they did make an enquiry not directly but through a satelite team, who they would have to take over but it must be tempting, but given the media attention and the increase in competitiveness in WSB I would question their reasoning- the green meanies against the blue meanies, now where did that come from? yellow meanies?

MotoGP should have the confidence to allow the green machines from World Superbike. If they prove faster, Dorna Sports and FIM should humbly change the regulations to conform to Kawasaki. If performance is roughly equal, the yellow meanies could be a Belgian team with the choice, depending on practice times at each track, of both Yamaha and Kawasaki.

apparently in 2 days time there will be a virtual MotoGP, all the top riders save Valle are said to be taking part, this is either the shape of things to come or a complete wast of time, or maybe just some fun, not sure if i can watch it or not, but may give it a try

I enjoyed the hell out of the Moto2 race from Qatar, broadcast a month late by NBC Sports. American Joe Roberts was first time on pole, which surprised and impressed everyone, and Tetsuta Nagashima rode brilliantly and also surprised with his first win. It was a great race and reminded me that it's the excitement of close racing I miss, but so far not Formula One. Sorry, Toto and Doktor Macabre.

Apparently there is active discussions taking place of the MotoGP season, as well as the WSB season starting in July, with 3 races in Spain to start with then over if borders are open to either Italy of Brno, then Austria.

Chris, I cannot believe that they think it possible to begin races in Spain as soon as July. For goodness sake the death toll rose there again today from C19 even with the very strict lockdown measures. It almost makes me think that Johnson is in charge of the FIM.

His hairstyle suggests too many miles at speed without a helmet, whereas the pompous pompadour is afraid to turn his back to the wind
