Quite by chance I happened upon a live transmission of the 2019 Kyalami 9 Hours this morning which is being shown I believe on YouTube. The weather looks amazing compared to here in Northern Europe and although the circuit isn't what it used to be it still looks excellent with quite a bit of its original layout and character. Some good racing so far and John Watson in the commentary box, so what's not to like  . |

I watched a small part of the race yesterday and it was good racing indeed. Wattie in the commentary box is always a pleasure.
Kyalami looked 'clean and green', much more than I remembered. But maybe that's just me...

His steady calm is the perfect antidote for the usual clownish histrionics. |
