The winglets on the Ducati are found legal so Dovi can keep his Qatar win. I guess that means we will see all kind of winglets on the other bikes very soon… F1 on two wheels! But now I just read that Honda's winglet has been found illegal...
But anyway, let’s hope for a good race in Argentina!

well,, so far so good
Marquez isel scorchio - but then so is Cal, Rossi and my tip for a win Rins, not that I am particularly a Suzie fan I just like the way they go about things, although a satellite team would be good,
it has been so good to be able to watch and I would listen to Moto2 but the incessant chatter of the squeaky voiced one, whose concept of commentary seems to differ from mine, but it is so good to occasionally hear the Triumphs roar

that was some margquesmaster class - looking ominous for another title but, great to see Valle up there this weekend, shame about Maverick , a good race for a few others too
but what was happening to the Brits in Argentina?
Moto3 - McPhee quickest all weekend until qualifying - great race then pushed back again then accident, Moto2- Sam- good practice, good start and then accident MotoGP- Cal, good start, well bit too good a start really, apparently, but at least he got some points,
but liked the circuit and Marquez master class 2 coming next at Texas?

Wow! That was as dominant a victory as I've seen in MotoGp for many years....reminded me of Doohan style dominance.
Very pleased to see Rossi in the hunt again and it was a brilliant performance from him, Maverick was quiet in the race and this seems to be a pattern with him...... So disappointed for Cal! Have you seen the side on video of his start, there is no way that you'd call that a jump start in the real world - I'm quite disappointed with Freddie Spencer if that was his call, I expect more from him.
Great racing in the pack behind Marquez so I hope he doesn't run away with more races in this way....

Something about MotoGP this year seems strange to me, it just does not gel like the previous seasons of recent times.
Marquez was in a league of his own in the race, it was almost like he was trying to expunge his woeful performance of last year. However most know that this is circuit like COTA that suits him to a 'T'.
Never been a fan of Rossi but his ride was absolutely superb and he left one in no doubt that he would prevail against Dovi in the end; no lunge from Valentino but a well considered move leaving the Ducati man no reply.
I am also no fan of Cal Crutchlow mainly because of his mouth, however that ride through for a supposed jump start was diabolical; Freddie Spencer should hang his head in shame for that decision. Mind you there are quite a few in authority who seem oblivious to the obvious in MotoGP at present.
Zarco struggling on the KTM reminds one of Lorenzo in his early days at Ducati which is a great shame as he is better than his performances this year. Johann must wonder when he sees those Petronas Yamaha's performing so well. Although mostly going unnoticed I have been very impressed with Miguel Oliviera on the Tec3 KTM, an outstanding talent in my opinion and one wonders what he would be doing on one of those Yamaha's.
Haven't watched any Moto2 or 3 this year, just can't get into it at all, and not because of the low ket British interest.

Totally agree JC, I thought Marquez was definitely piqued about last year, we saw his weakness a year ago and to someone as ruthless as he that needed a repair job, and what a job it was too, however whilst the next race doesn't bode well for the competition I know that Lorenzo will be getting up to speed by the time we get back to Europe and that will definitely change the world order, as will Zarco, once he gets his head around the KTM really expect him to start fighting for rostrums, he is too good and quick not to be there, Rossi was just awesome, and a real punch in the air for the fight against ageism, with Federer winning again, us old boys are fighting back!
I am actually really impressed with all the rookies this year, as I am with Morbidelli who will surely get the Yamaha works seat next year, of my favourite? Maverick, oh Maverick, he really does need to review his expectations and just race and I wonder if he feels he should have stayed at Suzuki - Rins looked good but is he that world class? I hope so
Moto2 is the deal, sounds good, looks great and although I once owned a 600cc Honda CBF I so much prefer the 765 Triumph engine, shame about Sam, hopefully it will come good soon,
Moto3 annoyed me this weekend, McPhee was the class of the field but it just seemed we returned to follow my leader qualifying - which always bugs me and the race just seemed bump-a-bike racing and no wonder John got exasperated it was farcical,
hoping that COTA and I really must go one year, although as I don't care to fly I am looking at options, will bring joy and happiness to Yamaha but I doubt it

Chris,
Don't get me wrong, I am captivated by the sound of the Triumph "triple", for it is one of the greatest sounding motorcycle engines of all time. I still get goose bumps every time I think of Pete Hickman on the Smiths Triumph down changing in last years Supersport TT races; very like the old MV Augusta 3's of Ago's day; melodic yet guttural.
It is probably a phase i am going through with regard to Moto2/3 right now, I do not find it compelling at all. For me John McPhee should have moved up long ago, he has been in Moto3 for far too long, but it isn't his fault if the backing isn't there; if he were Spanish or Italian...............
In Moto2 Sam Lowes just doesn't seem capable of staying on the machine, he has been throwing it down the road for several years now and doesn't seem to learn, or change whatever is causing the issue.
I know you rate and like Maverick but to me he seems very fragile mentally. Yes he can be very quick but these past few seasons have exposed his weakness'. I agree he should have stayed at Suzuki and built that team around him; unfortunately like so many ambition got the better of common sense.
Alex Rins is a very good rider and will eventually win races, but in my opinion Suzuki dropped the ball in reneging on the deal with Johann Zarco, that combination would have been exceptional. I really do not like seeing Zarco struggle on that KTM, it is uncomfortable to watch when one knows how good the guy is.
