This is a classic and an absolute must see. Pierre Scerri build this exact replica in 1/3 scale completely by hand. Working engine and gearbox, working diff, steering and dashboard. Everything works!
In terms of model making, it doesn't get any better than this. Enjoy!

I believe I am correct in saying that I came across this masterpiece, and film of same about 10 -12 years ago, it is truly astonishing. I am wondering if it would have been easier for him to have made a full size version than the 1/3rd scale model, it is model making of the highest order.

Found it on YouTube. What a model and what a display of determination. The sound of the engine and the way the little rev counter worked were just amazing. What labour of love. If he sold it I hope he got fair price for it.
