The championship is over and done but there are still three races to go. Marc Márquez won last year on the fantastic Philip Island circuit but Valentino Rossi is still the man with the most wins here. For Ducati it is a long time ago now they won (2010, Casey Stoner) so Dovi knows what to do! Bring on Australia!

One of the best MotoGP venues, a great track and location.
Such a shame that everyones dream of seeing Casey Stoner stand in for Jorge will not be realised, even without being race fit the guy would be awesome. The only man who could have destroyed Marquez had he had the stomach for racing, and rid himself of the politics and bile from the yellow brigade.

The Japanese MotoGP was incredible and all credit to Marquez - he did ride brilliantly and with a great deal of intelligence,
I have just listened to a pre-press briefing with Mat Burke and Chris Vermulen and Sally the pit lane lady which was pretty good - she is quite impressive,
the press conference has just started with the sycophantic adulation started with Stev Day, oh well,
I have foolishly gone for Rossi, just because of some ageism I experienced last week, Rossi is now talking, saying how much he loves Philip Island, hoping for good weather, and reminding us that last year Yamaha was strong here.

shame about Cal, that looked a nasty accident in practice and confirmed he has broken his ankle,
what a wonderful circuit a real test of man and machine, with so many people doing well at certain times, and the qualifying was breathtaking at times, brilliant riding,
maybe my wild choice may not be so wild after all?
