I have been watching quite large chunks of the Spa 24 Hours this weekend and the almost full live coverage put on by Motorsport TV courtesy of Eurosport has been excellent. Some superb camera angles which F1 could learn from and the commentary is great thanks to the legend that is John Watson plus Bob Varsha (he is still doing good work Carl!).
The weather has been fantastic as it is in Northern Europe, thankfully no storms at Spa into the night, but rain here in Normandy Sunday morning, the first for many weeks.
I am wondering if René is there at Spa?

I am wondering if René is there at Spa? No I am not. It's a great event to visit but I try to keep my track visits within limits to keep the home base happy! With three major tracks relatively nearby, this is not always easy but I have nothing to complain. Just can't visit them all.

You are lucky in having three major tracks nearby, it was much the same for me when I lived in my home country, so many great British tracks all within relative easy travelling distance, but it became more and more difficult as the horrendously busy Uk roads got ever more congested. Still dry at Spa and the racing is intense with just under 5 hours to go.
