I’m still trying to negotiate a wife pass for this one as we are going on holiday the next day. I really want to go (you know how much I love Sportscar racing).....be good to catch up if you're going, assuming my request for a pass is granted 😁

JC- I'm not sure I am guessing Anthony will be back
Jamie - that would be brilliant - i am going with a mate - although we'll probably disagree which car we will take, I didn't know he liked motorsport and I don't know how knowledeable he is, we normally go to the rugby so we'll see but it would great to catch up

Chris, Will the Awesome Teflonso be driving the Toyota? JC Quite sure he will as he is doing the complete WEC season. So a 50% chance he'll win!

Hi Jamie - i take you didn't get your pass?
apparently Teflonso and Jenson are both there, do you know it looks like it has potential if the Toyota's weren't there

interesting day, hopefully will download some photos -when i work out how with my new camera works, dohhh, but generally not a great race - really regret not going past couple of years, the Toyota's were so much better than anything else, really quick and very impressive to watch- the Fords looked good and enjoyed their dicing but Silverstone, oh Silverstone, gosh how I miss cetain parts of you, not impressed, except for, the staff, obviously been on a course to improve attitudes, really pleasant and helpful, no longer fortress Silverstone, but friendly, really nice suprise, but it is 40 years ago since i first went there and your facelifts and botox - sorry haven't worked for me

Really if one looks back at some 6 Hours of Silverstone in the past they were pretty much dominated by one make, think Porsche 936's and Porsche 956 in its first year, but then there were some beauties with the Jag's and Saubers. I have just read that the Toyota's have been disqualified due to a technical infringement; Oh dear! poor old Teflonso. Having seen this current configuration on TV I could not bring myself to go there now, I loved the old rustic environment for what it was. Can't say I ever really had an issue with officialdom there myself, as a paying spectator i just learned the "ropes" and always had a good time there Chris. Back in the early to mid 70's was best for a spectator as one could go into the area behind the pits and see all the cars and walk amongst the transporters etc, but then that odious little man began to flex his powers and spectators were consigned to be the great unwashed. It really is amazing what folk will put up with.
