isn't it a beauty! looking forward to hearing 40 of these at once! It has a glorious sound which the announcer at Goodwood should have let speak for itself!

There is something intoxicating about a three cylinder motorcycle engine. From the sound of those fabulous MV Augusta Threes to the BSA & Triumph 750 triples of the 1970's, just magnificent. As I mentioned in the 2018 TT comments the sound of Peter Hickman down changing the Smiths Triumph 675 in the SuperSport races was just music to my ears, the sound of the year for me. Fantastic engines, and not a blasted armature in sight .

I must admit to have probably spent so many thousands more on triples than I would have had i stayed with 4's but they are just so addictive to me, although my current machine which will be going for a bit of an 'update' as the exhaust unless at 7000 sounds more akin to a wet nappy and is about 15bhp down on my last one - and you really notice it accelarating - can't keep up with these wretched KTM's now, humph -
The MV has surely got the most beautiful looking bike out there and simply the best exhaust system going - love it, but Yamaha also do a triple which is a massive seller [apparently] because I haven't seen many on the roads or maybe if i have its probably when i am overtaking them.....so don't know what they sound like
but roll on 2019 and 40 singing triples

I have been searching for some film coverage of Peter Hickman on the Smiths Triumph 675 triple at this years Supersport TT races, however i could not find any. However there is a great onboard lap with Guy Martin on a triumph 675 in 2015 which is brilliant, turn the volume up and be enchanted.
