now - given the fact my technical ability is somewhat wanting I have no idea how Rene does his table thingy and how we vote for who is going to win, so i will imagine it, and go for Vettel,
it is good that there is a German GP and it is as welcome as the French - all we need now is Dutch GP and a Euro one, but then the German F1 circuits aren't exactly setting the world ablaze with excitement and the MotoGP certainly lends evidence that you don't need a national hero to entice crowds, apart from maybe Michael, but if you consider:
it was estimated that betwen 250,000 and 400,000 watched the German GP in the 60's - how accurate that was I have no idea, and after the tragic accident to Taffy there were a few German drivers who participated - such as Kurt Ahrens jnr, Edgar Barth, Hubert Hahne, Gerhard Mitter, but hardly names to encourage a huge fan base, and in MotoGP there have been 3 German riders in the past 15 years, [Hoffman, Bradl, Folger] and again no one who would encourage sell-out but the Sachsenring is hugely popular and packed to its capacit
so what would the answer be for German motor racing circuits, I don't have the DTM figures to hand and am not sure how popular it is still, or Formula E is in Germany - aside from our usual gripes of the cars, and I did read somebody thinks the halo's are no longer intrusive, perhaps a bit like your brain doesn't intrude into your intelligence? I am not sure of the answer other than having visited Germany the enjoyment the drivers get from exciting roads, the B500 for example is perhaps something to consider
