Hi Jim,
A very warm welcome to RRT, great to have you here.
Marquez certainly did appear to be out of control; as I have mentioned before I have never in my many years seen a so called world class rider behave in such a manner. As we both conclude he seemed to have no regard for his own safety; nor more importantly that of his fellow competitors. It was either that, or he has serious issues with judgement; there is no point in him "blaming" other riders for being "four seconds a lap slower than him". It is up to him to ride in accordance with what others are doing, not expect them to get out of his way.
Unfortunately the authorities will do nothing more about his conduct, they haven't in the past either.
