Just watched someone else's Jim's top 10 races, and for a change I was impressed with number one being the 1962 German GP. With number two being the 1963 Belgium GP where for crying out loud he won by almost 5 minutes, that is astonishing, 3rd was the 1966 Dutch GP and 4th was the 1967 Italian GP. Apparently Jimmy used to get irritated when people used to say it was his best race, saying that the 49 was so far ahead of everyone else after all it was on pole in every race since it's Dutch GP launch in that wonderful 1967 season. I would have included the 1965 Belgium GP and the 1968 South African GP to mention two very special races. but then it would be my top 12, rules - pah-

Just visited the Jim Clark museum again on Sunday, mainly it has to be said to see the 1966 Lotus 38, a car I had never seen before

My thanks to you Rene for your kind support, it really is most welcome. What got me about the Lotus 38 was it was incredible, so so special, obviously I would have preferred the 1965 version, and imagining what 200 laps in a car like this was like was just mind boggling. Interesting 58 years later there are still arguments whether Graham, who drove a fabulous race or Jimmy who survived two gut wrenching spins who won. Personally I think Graham did
