Jamie, I always look forward to this totally cool and unique event, but...
"This Event is not available in your location. The owner of this event has chosen to block your location. If you think there has been an error, please contact the event owner."
That's the message on the streaming website. This seems like damnable favoritism to me!
What I have to do is pay close attention to the sports channels. If one decides to televise Bathurst, it will be several weeks or months from now. And that's a big "if"...
Cheers, Carl

For those like Carl who cannot view an online stream because it is territorially restricted I recommend a good quality Virtual Profile Network (VPN). To get the best quality service you need to subscribe to one as the Free versions are restricted, but for me they are worth the annual sub's of around 60/70 US dollars. I have used one for several years now as many British TV companies restrict access to online programs outside of the UK because of territory agreements.
You can set your VPN to any country you desire and that is where you appear to be using your computer, you also are invisible to your own ISP and if like some they restrict your download speed after a while the VPN over rides that. The security levels are high as well, so that is another plus; and you can have it on three working devices at one time. also great if you are out and about using a Wi Fi Hot Spot as that gives you even better security.

Ah, thats not cool Carl. Can't even see it on a mobile phone? Not sure, but even if so, the small screen isn't good. My best alternative is to wait for one of the sports channels to have some space they don't know how to fill. I suspect they could easily do a better job but don't see any demand. They are ignorant philistines obsessed with satisfying ignorant viewers.

Watched live a bit yesterday night, watching now the last four hours reply on youtube.
Bathurst is such a great track, the racing is compelling.

Jesus H. What a race! They go for the overtake, they don't spare shots.
Still close racing after 10 hours. Amazing.

I drove the wrong way up conrod straight whilst in Australia many, many years ago and the place had tremendous atmosphere. I remember I managed to find a copy of Autosport for sale in a shop on Mt. Panorama. Unfortunately, I wasn't there when the 500 was on but I did manage to see a round of the V8 Championship at Lakeside near Brisbane, it was quite a spectacle and I've followed the championship ever since.

Great race, thouroughly enjoyed it. I supported the Porsches and I would have liked to see how it would have panned out without that ending, as the winners had to refuel without the safety car intervening.
Fearless racing, flat out all the way, and a stunning circuit.
Long live The Mountain!

Although I was a bit busy last weekend (with our new dog!) I did manage to watch a few moments live. What a fantastic circuit and race this always is! Pure hard racing.
Unfortunately no Ferrari to challenge for victory like last year but still a great race. Great stuff!
