great photos Rene, real class, and evidences to me the difference, I took a series of photos of Alain Prost spinning in practice at Silverstone one year - when i went to get them developed they didn't come out very well, whereas yours are truly excellent

Great sequence of pictures, Rene!
What caused Senna to quit the race? Did a mechanical issue cause the spin? When he was sitting close by, did he interact with spectators?

I have made more bad pictures than good pictures at races! But I am glad these ones came out good.

He didn't really interact except for a wave when he finally left. The crowd was going berserk and they were shouting all kind of words to him that were not very friendly! But I don't believe he really cared for that. At Monza only Ferrari counts and he knew that. Prost won the race but he was actually cheered at because before the race it was announced that Alain had signed for Ferrari! I even bought a Prost/Ferrari shirt that weekend!

All photographers discard by a wide margin more pictures than they keep. Cheers, Carl
