A quick note to wish all of you amazing F1-heads on this forum all the best for 2019!
The year of Leclerc, perhaps?
It was was a great honour to have been invited to contribute to Racers of the Round Table and I hope I can keep a seat at the far end (a low seat, a small stool, so my eyes are only barely above table height) through till 2020.

Bill, All the best to you as well for a happy and prosperous 2019! We are honored to have you at the table, however, a member who says you deal cards with great imagination wants your seat higher and hands visible. Cheers, Carl

may your wishes come true and peace and happiness reign supreme here's hoping for a great year for you all, but I would also like to echo Bill's comments, do you know chaps it really is an honour to be a part of this merry band of fans, with diverse interests and a wonderful sense of humour, the racing may not have been to everyone's tastes but the comments are!
on a personal level I have already started the planning for events for 2019, starting as per normal at Coventry for Race Retro where I am hoping Jamie and I can meet up again, that was really cool last year, but aside from motorsport I have already bought my tickets for the 3rd test in August and am definitely looking forward to that!
but have fun and a great evening - all the best chaps

A happy new year to all my fellow racers at this wonderful round table!
It has been a pleasure, a joy and an honour to get to know you all a bit better the past year. You are all great blokes and it’s the mutual respect that makes this place work the way it does. May it continue for a long time, hopefully add a few new members who share the same passion and values as we do and let’s hope for some great racing in 2019!
Have a great evening and I wish you all the best, happiness and good health for 2019!!!

May I wish you all around the table the happiest and a most enjoyable New Year. 2018 was a great year at RRT with so many great discussions and such a varied subject matter in all of the threads; 2019 promises even more no matter what happens around us.
A great pleasure and privilege to be with you all.
Cheers

As he normally does, Mikael assesses the New Year for prospective goodness before allowing it to proceed. It should be a good year, otherwise Mikael would have held December 31 for a while.

Happy New Year to all my special friends on RRT. I echo the views of others on this forum about the type of people we have here and the joy of exchanging views and stories with you all.
With a bit of luck I may even get to meet some of you this year as my wife, daughter and I are planning to relocate to the UK some time this year once we sell our house here in Johannesburg.
I am looking forward to another year of motorsport joy with you all and may 2019 be a great year for you all.

May we all have a very happy new year, or a good one, or at least one better than 2019!

May we all have a very happy new year, or a good one, or at least one better than 2019! I would like to concur Carl for 2019 wasn't one of the best, challenging on many fronts for many people all around the globe. May the coming year be kind to us all, and prove not to be a year of interesting times in the Chinese sense.
