John, couldn't agree more about Mr Day, he really grates and I just don't understand how these folk get their positions, let alone keep them.
The testing yesterday was a bit inconclusive due to the weather, but it is looking better today,

The testing yesterday was a bit inconclusive due to the weather, but it is looking better today, It truly beggars belief Chris. My only conclusion is that there must be a dearth of talent available when it comes to TV commentators. DORNA have done themselves, and the fans a gross disservice by employing this guy. His voice and speech is terrible, and then we have his overall rudeness to other commentators, and then this overt adulation of one particular rider. Even though he wasn't a bike guy the BBC's Charlie Cox was better than Mr Day; and so is BTSports motor mouth Keith Heuwen who I actually do not like either. In the past UK MotoGP work was done by Toby Moody and Julian Ryder, but once BT took it over Moody was replaced by Heuwen. The Moody/Ryder combination were actually quite good; not anywhere near up to Jack Burnacle and James Whitham of Eurosport BSB fame, but better than anything else.

I had never seen or heard Steve Day and should have left well enough alone.
He appears to exemplify the axiom that stupidity is unable to recognize itself.

John, I actually used to like Charlie Cox and Steve Parish, to use an awful term, they were 'quite cosy' but I guess like most things the people who pay the money like the screaming biased hysterics of the young, obviously needed to enhance the show...
Hue and cry- sorry Huewen - seemed much better historically - fewer hysterics and his accent not so grinding, maybe he needed Julian more than anyone else,
Dorna are trying out a new duo in Moto2+3, the lead is young, seemingly very young and initially was grating but in all fairness he has improved a lot and seems less 'eager to please' and more settled, his co-commentator is far more measured with a more baritone voice and they don't seem so noticeably biased like Mr. Day - I have just renewed my subscription with Dorna, 200Euros for a season which equates to £8 a race, not cheap but aside from Mr Day in my humble opinion worth it

I must admit that Parrish began to get on my nerves with all of his adulation of Rossi at that time, and that stupid "GOAT" prefix which was about appropriate as a good cup of tea without milk. Later however his IOM TT appearances have been back to his old standard but I believe he was missing this past year for some reason or other. I think Hue & Cry (like that) Heuwen has turned up the volume since returning to BT Sports well as exaggerating the Londonesque brogue which I detest; it just appears crude to me some how. Sorry to say I would not pay that money for the DORNA Feed, and will struggle on searching out the free streams that populate the internet. John
