But zero comments is not a lot... I love it Rene, the master of understatement. Mark Hughes writes on another forum as well, can't remember the name exactly or how I got there, but I do happen to chance upon it now and then. Most of the ex PITAs from the old motorsport site appear from time to time as well as some new ones. Normal drivel especially by Ray from Toronto, going under a new alias, who attacks everyone. I do think that SLH's lack of a competitive car has cut out a lot of comments and counter comments. Maybe they have just all grown up. Ray had insider status with Mark Hughes but ruined it with his bizarre conspiracy theories about Mercedes.

Yep, he became very obnoxious over it all. I lost all respect for his commentary and am glad he didn't join our blog.

If memory serves Ray met with Mark at one Canadian gp and the relationship somewhat soured subsequently
I do think it is sad that the MS forum has really divebombed and is nothing like its former glory, I still follow Mat Oxley and his excellent words and views but apart from a core group of people and one or two idiots who are normally sorted out by Kiwi it also is a pale forum by comparison to 5 years ago
I still get the magazine and although the past two months have not been great I will persevere

If memory serves Ray met with Mark at one Canadian gp and the relationship somewhat soured subsequently Yep that’s what happened. Ray is a big man behind his keyboard. I also remember he said he would never ever post again if the halo would be introduced in F1 but apparently he couldn’t help himself.

there is an article in online MS about BCE and Matt Bishop mentions Stuart Lewis-Evans to which I responded about a book is needed about Stuart as so little is written about him and his meteoric rise to F1's top team and how his tragic death influenced BCE and his handling of things
it is interesting article as it doesn't really show the UK justice system in great stead, if you can afford £614million or whatever you can avoid jail, ok mid nineties with a young son isn't ideal, poor health but that sort of money is a wee drop in the ocean, notwithstanding that it is an article worth reading.

Thanks Chris, it’s an interesting article indeed!
